What we do
Crossway Park nursery is located in the centre of Caldicot in a large 2 storey terraced building. The nursery caters for rising 3's (2.5 yrs - 3 yrs) and preschool age children. Our base room on the ground floor is set up for free flow play and offers opportunities for exploratory play, role play, construction, and creative play, using a combination of natural/authentic resources, loose parts and purpose bought toys.
Within the nursery, we also have a designated Art Space, Well-Being Room with gym equipment, a Reading Room, and Relaxation Space.
We have a secure outside area that children can access daily offering opportunities for exploratory play, physical development, large construction and role play. We also enjoy the large park located directly opposite the nursery and additional walks in the local area, and we have links with local community groups to enhance children's learning and development.
