What we do

Sweet Pea Daycare has been established since 2013. We have been providing high quality childcare for children aged 6 weeks- 5 years for the past 12 years. Our team of practitioners are compassionate and caring and share a vast knowledge in child development, behaviour management, learning through play and safeguarding. We provide an enriching and inclusive environment full of fun and educational learning opportunities catering to all ages and stages of development. We have fluent welsh speaking members of the team who assist in our delivery of the welsh language. Activities are planned around the Curriculum for Wales and we ensure a broad range of opportunities are made available to the children in our care. We offer a wrap around service to our local Nursery school Ton-Yr-Ywen Primary.

Our setting is inclusive to all children and their families from ages 6 weeks- 5 years

We are available: all year round. We open Monday-Friday 7.30am-5:45pm. We close for bank holidays and a week closure at Christmas

We can provide wrap around care. Morning wrap around service available to Ton-Yr-Ywen Nursery school

  • £75.00 per Day - Morning and afternoon sessions available from £50m

  About our service

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
We have a designated Additional Needs Coordinator and we will work with all families to try and provide a suitable environment for any child who may require additional support.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
We frequently re-train staff on additional learning needs and will carry out any additional training that may be required to support a child within our care.
