What we do

I provide a home from home based childcare setting.
I offer full time, part time, breakfast and after school care and wrap around care, if spaces allow I can also offer holiday care.
I have many years experience working with and caring for children and I provide a service which promotes children to explore play and learn in a way which they enjoy. All children and families are accepted regardless of ethnicity, religion, ability or disability. Everyone is welcomed at jollies as if you are one of the family.
I have both personal and professional experience of caring for children on the Autism Spectrum so I am able to tailor my care to suit their needs.
We love to be outdoors whether that's in local parks, the nature reserve or even our large back garden. Learning through play is important at jollies with all children of all ages included in a wide range of activities. PS, we love messy play and muddy puddles.

All families with children in the Blaenau Gwent and surrounding areas.
I am registered to provide care for parents using the Childcare for Wales offer.

I am in the process of registering to provide care through Flying Start and the Tax Free Childcare Scheme.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: all year round. I offer full time, part time, breakfast and after school care and wrap around care currently supporting Blaen y Cwm Primary School in Brynmawr. Open Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, however I may be able to be flexible with the start and finish times.

We can provide wrap around care. I currently provide wrap around care for pupils at Blaen y Cwm Primary School in Brynmawr.

  About our service

The language spoken in our setting is English medium setting with some bilingual elements.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
able to access support from FIS and the ALNLO for Blaenau Gwent
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
I have Recently completed CPD in Additional Needs with the ALNLO for Blaenau Gwent.

I have a large garden which children can have full access too. It is safe an secure.

I will happily accommodate real nappies if parents wish as I used them for my own children

We have a lovely dog at our setting called Roxie who is fully insured and vet checked immunised.
