What we do

Shining Stars Nursery School has been running since 2014. We are registered with Care Inspectorate Wales and Early Years Wales. We are a creative pre-school with lots of painting, exploring, music and fun. Children are nurtured in a well-thought out environment from which they can explore, experiment and experience new things. They learn independence, self-awareness and mutual respect. They are encouraged to express themselves through play, communication, imagination and music. Emotional well-being is important to us.
Staff have been handpicked for their love of children and are qualified and experienced in Early Years Education. Activities are carefully planned.
We follow the principles of the Foundation Phase and cover the seven areas of learning.
Shining Stars Nursery School is open during school term times every Monday to Friday, from 9am to 11:55am or 12:55pm if staying for lunch club.
We were rated one of the Three Best Rated Nurseries in Cardiff from 2019-2023.

Who do we support

We are a not for profit nursery school that provides affordable childcare for families with children age 2-5 years old. Families can use the Childcare Offer Wales and Tax Free Childcare with our nursery school.
