Portmead flying start Caters for children age 2-3 years, providing morning and afternoon sessions lasting 2.5 hours during term time

We are available: term time only. we are open the same as school terms, except for an extra week at the start of summer break.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN) We Have access to early years ALN teams. where we are able to gain advice and support, have ALN consultations, and refer into ALN panel for possible additional support if we feel additional learning provision is necessary
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches Staff are knowledgeable and have received training in aspects of ALN. staff are involved with the IDP process, and working with the family and designated co-ordinator to get the best outcomes for the child.
