What we do

Cylch Meithrin Rhiwbina is a Welsh-medium preschool playgroup founded in 1959, offering high-quality, play-based early education for children aged 2–4. We deliver sessional care following the Curriculum for Wales, with daily access to both indoor and outdoor learning. Led by experienced staff, the setting promotes bilingualism, creativity, and confidence in a nurturing environment. We currently run AM only sessions (9am - 1130am) with Clwb Cino (1130am-12noon) and wrap around (12-1230pm) services now offered to Ysgol Y Wern.

Cylch Meithrin Rhiwbeina is an inclusive Welsh language playgroup accepting children between the ages of 2 and 4 from the local area (Rhiwbina, Llanishen, Thornhill, Whitchurch)
