What we do

As a registered childminder, I work alone and aim to provide a safe and secure home-based environment for childcare where both boys and girls are given every opportunity to learn and develop through a range of fun and stimulating activities and experiences. 
I am aware of the Wales ‘Active Offer’ and deliver this within my setting by using bilingual greetings, incidental Welsh in conversations and by singing songs, counting, and learning colours and shapes in Welsh. I also make use of visuals such as books and flash cards to support and nurture Welsh communication skills in the children that attend. 

Who do we support

My childminding service is open to all children and families regardless of their gender, race, and family background, cultural or religious beliefs. Any additional needs of a child will always be discussed in full prior to parents committing to a contract to ensure that the care I provide meets the individual needs and preferences of children. I have been an ALNCo in a primary school for the past 7 years and have a comprehensive understanding of additional needs and supporting children and parents within this area.
I can offer childcare to boys and girls from 3 years of age (nursery school age) to 12 years. I do not offer my childminding services to children under the age of 3. As a childminder, I am registered to care for 10 children under the age of 12 years old, two of my children included. Within the ten children that I am registered to care for, no more than six are to be under the age of eight. Within those six, no more than three are to be under the age of five.

We can provide wrap around care.
