What we do

I am a self employed registered Childminders . I have been doing the job for 25 years and offer home from home care in a relaxed cosy environment for the children.
I work Tuesdays to Friday 8/5:30 pm but offer flexibility when needed . I work work approximately 47 weeks a year .
The setting is inspired by following some aspects of Hygge and curiosity approach and based on lots of outdoor learning and loose parts .

Charges for childminding are agreed between the parand the childminder, and will vary depending on the number of hours your child is cared for.

We participate in as many village local community events as we can . Local library for storytelling and singing in Welsh .

We are available: all year round.

We are unable to provide wrap around care.

Like to stick to my usual opening hours but can be flexible for the children in my care if need be.

Outside of normal hours we can provide care: Early mornings

About our service

The language spoken in our setting is Welsh medium setting and English medium setting.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN) I do update training to cover additional learning needs.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches I keep up to date with relevant training and have an ALN policy in place.
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years? Yes update courses and attend any relevant training I can
Outside space Yes a vey good outdoor play area with overhang and cabin for additional use and a park next door.
Will you use real nappies for children in your care? If parents prefer and provide them then yes.
