What we do

Out of School Childcare offers care outside of the child’s full time school day, running before school, after school and during the school holidays for children aged 3 - 11+ years.
Out of School Childcare provides experiences that are rich in play and led by the child, facilitated by qualified Playworkers. Playworkers give children opportunities to play freely in a safe space, boosting their self-esteem and wellbeing and helping them develop a range of life skills.

Who do we support

This is a school based setting providing holiday childcare for children who attend Ysgol Acrefair. Children form other schools may attend but please contact the setting for guidance.

Training/ Experience/ Qualifications: Staff have various childcare qualifications, ranging from BEd(hons) to Level 3 Playwork. All staff attend mandatory courses of safeguarding and health and safety.

  Our opening times and availability

We are available: school holiday only. Closed for Christmas Holidays and open the 1st 4 weeks of Summer holiday only.

We are available during the following school holidays:

  • Spring half term
  • Easter holiday
  • May half term
  • Summer holiday
  • Autumn half term

We are unable to provide wrap around care.

  Our costs

  • £30.00 per Day - snacks and drinks included.
  • £15.00 per Half day - 8 -1pm
  • £15.00 per Half day - 1 -4.30 pm

We have the following additional costs :

  • £3.50 - For breakfast if required.

£5 reduction for siblings.
