What we do

Out of School Childcare offers care outside of the child’s full time school day, running before school, after school and during the school holidays for children aged 3 - 11+ years.
Out of School Childcare provides experiences that are rich in play and led by the child, facilitated by qualified Playworkers. Playworkers give children opportunities to play freely in a safe space, boosting their self-esteem and wellbeing and helping them develop a range of life skills.

Who do we support

A school based setting providing after school childcare for those children who attend Ysgol Alexandra, including nursery children.

Training/ Experience/ Qualifications: Staff have many years experience in childcare. They have certificates in Childare and Playwork qualifications or working towards Playwork certificates.
All staff attend mandatory training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Playwork and Food Hygiene.

We are available: term time only.

We are available during the following school terms:

  • Summer term

We can provide wrap around care.

Please enquire about our wraparound playgroup sessions for Nursery class children between 08:50 and 17:30.
