What we do

Playgroups cater mainly for children aged 2½ to 5 years, usually for 2 to 3 hours in the morning or afternoon and mainly during term time.

Who do we support

Playgroup morning session - 9am - 11.30am
Playgroup afternoon session - 12.15pm - 2.45pm
Playgroup all day session - 9am - 2.45pm
Breakfast Club - 8am - 9am
Early Education funded children have a free place in the morning sessions and can stay on in the afternoon..
Early Years funding cannot be used during the afternoon session.
Experience/Training/Qualifications: Supervisors have NVQ 3 in Childcare, Learning & Development. Other staff working towards NVQ 3. All staff attend ongoing childcare related courses including First Aid, Child Protection, Food Hygiene and Early Education Entitlement training. BCUHB Award for Early Years Health & Nutrition. Design to Smile Bronze Award.

  Our costs

  • £16.00 per Session - Morning session - 9am - 11.30 (2.5 years +)
  • £18.00 per Session - Afternoon session - 12.15pm - 15.00 (2 years +)
  • £30.00 per Session - All day session - 9am - 15.00pm (2.5 years +)
  • £18.00 per Session - For children who attend Early Education in the morning - children can stay on in afternoon
