  About our service

The language spoken in our setting is Welsh medium setting.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
The setting works with the Local Authority EYALNLO and AN Support Officer, all staff have completed ALN training and the ALN Leads attend AN Forums to keep up to date in any changes which we pass on to the rest of the staff.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
All children will have 6 weeks assessment from starting at the setting. If at this point staff feel that the child may need more support, we would contact the parent / ALN Lead / SALT / FSW to obtain a wider range of professional opinion and a my targets will be put in place. Children may need a PCP also put in place and PCP meetings would take place on entry if the child starts with a need already identified and would also have a transition PCP with all professionals involved ready for transition to school.
