What we do

Ty Mabon provides the highest standard of care to children ages 2-12years. We have funding available for 3 year olds from the Childcare Offer for Wales, 10 Education Hours and all working parents can join our tax free childcare scheme. Ty Mabon offers many great opportunities for children, including Forest and Coastal school sessions, yoga, Makaton, cooking sessions and lots of fun activities through outdoor and indoor learning. We run Ti a Fi sessions fortnightly to encourage parents to immerse their under 2s into the Welsh language through fun and games. We offer an afters school provision for children up to 12 years old and offer homecooked, healthy and nutritious meals throughout the day.

All children are welcomed at Ty Mabon. We support children with Additional Learning Needs and work closely with parents for an inclusive experience of childcare.

We are available: all year round.

We can provide wrap around care. Pick up from Ysgol Penybryn at 11.30am and 3.20pm Pick up from Ysgol Craig y Deryn at 3.30pm

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
We have an outreach programme with the ABC Additional Needs centre in Dolgellau. Both our leader and deputy are equipt to deal with all ALN provisions required and we will support parents where needed.

All staff are trained in the ALN provision by Gwynedd Council and embrace a person centred approach to learning.
