What we do

The aim of Meithrinfa Dwylo Da is to provide a day care service of the highest quality to children of pre-school age. As part of our service, we transport eligible children from the Nursery to local schools to attend educational sessions by arrangement, which has been agreed upon between the parents and the school.

All our activities correspond with the Care Inspectorate Wales’ requirements for Nursery day care published by the National Assembly of Wales.

We aim to:
• Provide and develop a reliable child care facility, for a fair price and of high standard;
• Provide a safe and happy environment, full of satisfactory and rich experiences that are carefully planned and which motivate children to learn, play, achieve and have fun;
• Offer a facility for parents that enables them to increase the opportunities to take a more prominent part in the labour market;
• Provide a service that meets the community’s needs;
• Ensure the Nursery’s financial viability and continuation
