BAWSO - specialist training services for BME communities - Education
What we do
Our trainings provide high-quality, practice-focused learning for professionals working in safeguarding and support services. Each programme is designed to translate specialist knowledge into practical application, combining current sector insight with real-world scenarios to strengthen confidence and competence in frontline practice. With an emphasis on trauma-informed responses, intersectional understanding, and effective intervention, the trainings equip participants with the skills needed to improve outcomes for survivors and meet the demands of complex casework.
Who do we support
Our training packages are catered to support learning needs of all practitioners and community members who work with victims of domestic abuse and modern day slavery and human trafficking.
This includes the statutory sector, voluntary organisations, health, education, CJS, religious establishments, private companies and many more.
