What we do
We are a day care nursery caring for children from birth to 5 years. A registered provider of Early Years education, Flying Start, the Childcare Offer for Wales, ECERS inspected, BEEL quality mark for babies and holders of Torfaen Health Early Years Award. Estyn Inspected. CCTV door entry system, based within the town centre and in close vicinity to Pontypool Park and Museum. The setting has a soft play room, construction room, imaginary room, Seasons room on the lower floor and on the upper floor there is a baby and tots unit with moveable structures to adapt the area to suit the needs and abilities of the age groups. Outdoor play area for all ages. All Managers are qualified to NVQ Level 5 in Child Care Learning and Development. The Nursery has been open for over 26 years, with many staff in service over 13 years. We have a very low turn over of staff and the many of the staff have their own children. Closed on Bank Holidays only. Awarded Positive about Disabled People.
Who do we support
We care for children from birth to 5, providing additional education element to pre school children. Our services are open to families who live, work or study locally. We are able to accept Flying Start, Tax Free Childcare, 30 Hour Offer, College Student Allowance, Universal Credit, Local Authority and Communities First Funding. We are happy to discuss other streams of funding which may come available.
