Earlybird Plus Parent and Teen Life Programme - Family support services


What we do

NAS EarlyBird Plus is an 8-week support programme for parents/carers of children aged from 4 to 9 years old with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

NAS Teen Life is and 6-week programme for parents/carers of children aged from 10 to 16 years old with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) diagnosis.

The support programmes work on understanding autism, building confidence to encourage interaction and communication, and understanding and supporting behaviour. Offering guidance on strategies and a safe space to share lived experiences.

Up to 10 families at a time, each family is allocated three spaces, two for parent carers and one for an accompanying professional.

There is a cost for the programme which can be paid in full or weekly. Cost covers programme resources, parent handbook and refreshments.

The programme is facilitated by two licenced professionals. Within the Vale of Glamorgan area.
