Royal Society for Blind Children (RSBC) - Family support services
What we do
The Royal Society for Blind Children provides support for Children and Families across Wales. We offer a range of services to vision impaired young people and their families. These include:
Family Practitioners across Wales dedicated to offering practical and emotional wellbeing support to the whole family, who can meet families in person or online, in the way that works best for them.
RSBC’s free Advice Service provides support to vision impaired young people and their families. This includes financial and practical support that families may be entitled to, for example, Welfare Benefits and grants.
We offer a variety of engaging activities to bring blind and partially sighted children and young people together to have fun, make new friends, and develop skills for life.
Our Futures service helps vision impaired young people in Wales to confidently navigate transitions through education and beyond, into the workplace, volunteering and work experience.
Who do we support
RSBC is here for children and young people between 0-25 years who have a vision impairment diagnosis, and their families who might be looking for emotional wellbeing support, advice or to have fun and make friendships.
