What we do
Golden Manor offers high-quality childcare for children aged 0–12 years in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment. Our 2.2-acre setting provides excellent outdoor learning opportunities, including woodland with a forest school area, a castle with a slide, gardens, bikes and trikes, a willow walk and climbing equipment. Indoors, we offer a fully equipped sensory room that supports early developmental skills. We are proud to hold ‘Exemplar Employer’ status and have a team of highly qualified, dedicated staff. Each child has a personalised learning journal through the Famly app, allowing families to follow progress across all areas of the Curriculum for Wales. In our most recent inspection, we were rated ‘Excellent’ in Care and Development, Leadership and Environment, and ‘Good’ in Teaching and Assessment, Learning and Wellbeing. We also provide free settling-in sessions to help each child feel confident and secure before starting.
Who do we support
Full Day Care: Available Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 6:00pm, for children primarily aged 0–3 years.
After-School Care: Including school drop-offs and pick-ups to Ysgol Bro Penfro.
Holiday Club: Providing high-quality childcare for children up to 12 years old during school holidays.
Flying Start Centre: Providing Flying Start funded sessions from 9:00am to 11:30am.
The Childcare Offer for Wales: Offering 20 hours of funded childcare during term time for eligible three-year-olds, and up to 30 funded hours for up to nine weeks during school holidays.
Early Education Entitlement: Providing 10 hours per week of early education for children aged 3–4 years.
