What we do
Rhayader Community Nursery (registered with CIW) is a full day care facility that cares for 19 children from the age of 6 months to 8 years old, located in the grounds of Rhayader Primary School. No more than 6 under 2's are initially allowed in one session. Our opening times are between 8am and 6pm Monday to Friday except bank holidays. We offer a full day which is £54.50, that includes breakfast, lunch and tea. We also do the wrap around care from Cylch Meithrin and Rhayader under 5's. We now offer the 20 hours Child care offer for the 3+ year old in 10 hours days.
Who do we support
Before you register with Rhayader Community Nursery, you will be invited to visit the Nursery during our normal opening hours. This will give you the opportunity to see how Rhayader Community Nursery is run and give you an insight to the activities that take place and the atmosphere in which your child will be cared for. After you register, up to two, two-hour sessions will be available for you and your child at a time arranged with the Nursery Manager. We understand how worrying it is for parent(s)/guardian(s) when a child first starts Nursery and everything will be done to ensure this runs smoothly.
