Cherish - Supporting SCBU at Wrexham Maelor Hospital - Family support services
What we do
Cherish, a registered charity, is the parents support group linked to the Special Care Baby Unit (SCBU) at the Wrexham Maelor Hospital.
Our aim is to provide help to parents - either when their babies are on SCBU or afterwards.
This help can be in the form of financial support to enable parents to visit their babies more easily.
We offer the opportunity for parents to talk to a fellow parent who understands what it is like to have a child needing special care.
We are very proud of the three rooms of parents accommodation at the Maelor.
