What we do
More Than Flags and Rainbows CIC is a Welsh not-for-profit that supports schools, families, and communities to create safer, more inclusive environments for all children and young people. MTFAR provides training, consultancy, family support, educational resources, workshops, and inclusion-focused programmes to help schools usualise diverse families, challenge bullying, and improve understanding of equality, diversity, and relationships. Services include staff training, inclusion health checks, pupil workshops, parent support, online learning, and community projects.
Founded by Ian Timbrell, MTFAR combines lived experience, educational leadership, and practical inclusion strategies to help make schools and communities safer, more supportive places.
