What we do
Playgroup, sometimes known as Preschool is childcare where children usually aged 2 years to school age are cared for.
Typically, playgroups operate from community centres, school sites or church buildings during school term-time only
Here at Hafod Y Wern Playgroup we cater for children aged 2 to school age for 2 and a half hours in the morning or afternoon and during term time only.

Hafod Y Wern Playgroup supports children and their parents/guardians
Children attend Hafod Y Wern Playgroup (Flying Start) for either the morning or afternoon session. The group is only for children referred by Flying Start Health Visitors.
Our experienced and qualified staff hold the following qualifications and training certificates
2 staff members hold level 5 in childcare and management,
1 staff member level 5 in childcare
1 staff member is working towards level 4
All staff have First Aid, Child Protection, and ALN training.
Hafod Y Wern Playgroup (Flying Start) is Tiny Tums accredited
Can anyone use this service?
This setting can only be accessed if you have a Flying Start Health visitor.
