What we do
Last inspection we had no good practice recommendations, CIW were extremely happy with the care and provision we provide.
While priority is given to students & staff of the university, we will give spaces to external people if any available.

We are currently registered for 64 children aged 10 weeks to 5 years. Places are allocated to boys and girls.
We provide care through the medium of English with basic Welsh language skills introduced.
Little Scholars Nursery is divided into three sections appropriate to the ages and
development of the children.
Babies – 10 weeks to approximately 23 months. Ratio: 1 staff to 3 children
Toddlers – 2 to 3 years. Ratio: 1 staff to 4 children
Pre-School – 3-5 years. Ratio: 1 staff to 8 children
All the rooms are light, airy and well equipped. The nursery benefits from a benefits from a conservatory area and large, enclosed gardens at the rear of the building.
Who do we support
Parents looking for full day care. We provide minimum half day to full time Monday - Friday

We are available: All year round. Closed Bank Holidays. The day after Easter Monday and August Bank Holiday for staff training and from Christmas Eve to New Years Day
We are unable to provide wrap around care.

Parents have to arrive no later than 12.50 for morning session and 17.50 for afternoon session. This is in order to have full feedback, have time to dress their children and to leave the premises by 1800 hours
