What we do
Plant y Coed is a bilingual Welsh and English childminding service that offers flexible childcare. One of the most important objectives of my service, is the promotion of learning through the outdoors. Moreover, my service reflects a home from home environment, which helps children settle in more efficiently.
The primary aims and objectives of my service are to support children to achieve the best possible outcomes through care, learning and play. In addition, I intend to make children feel valued, safe, healthy, and confident inside and outside of Plant y Coed. I ensure that the quality of care I offer is continuously improving and that children and parents/ carer’s voices are always heard.
Plant y Coed upholds the philosophy that a child’s early years are crucial for their future growth and development. Every child is unique and should be valued as such. All children deserve the right to opportunities, which will enhance their life skills in a positive manner.
Who do we support
Plant y Coed is a registered childminding service for children between the ages of 0 - 12 years old.
Plant y Coed is open to all families and children in the community. I would love to offer every interested family a space in my setting but, due to increasing demand, spaces are limited. All families
will be offered the option of being added to my waiting list for future admissions and, will be contacted as soon as a space become available. I operate on a first come first service basis.
