Ceredigion Flying Start offer informative, fun and interactive parenting sessions that help you get the best out of family life. Ceredigion Flying Start work with a variety of services across Ceredigion to provide a range of parenting programmes to suit individual needs of parents whether one to one or in groups.

Who do we support
This course is for parents, grandparents and carers - for everyone in the new arrival's life who wants to build a strong, healthy relationship with the baby.
It’s a 5 week course which looks at the how and why starting your relationship with your baby before your baby even makes an appearance is so important for you and your baby!
It explains how and why you are so important to this baby, whether you are the mother, father, partner, grandparent or birth partner.
During the 5 weeks we cover the following topics:
• Expectations of a new baby
• Infant feeding and Safe Sleep
• Baby’s brain development
• Early language – Talking to your bump
• Preparation for labour & birth – this session is delivered by a
Midwife
• Perinatal Mental Health Awareness

Language: Welsh medium setting and English medium setting
- Can provide specialist support for families of children with disabilities / additional needs
Health support is adapted for children with disabilities. Some members of staff have the ability to use sign language. We provide an Autism specific programme and a Parent Nurture course, specifically for parents of children with a Disability or Additional Learning Need Please contact to discuss your child(s) needs further. - Relevant staff have a valid current DBS?
