What we do
Our nursery provides full & part-time places for both staff/students of the College plus members of the local community. Registered for 106 children. We have the provision to cater for children with additional needs. Registered with Care Inspectorate for Wales (CIW), NE Wales Regional Office, we are members of the National Day Nurseries Association & Early Years Wales. The language is English with a basic translation in Welsh. BTEC qualified staff have done Makaton. We offer good quality childcare, ensuring that both parents & children enter an environment that is warm & friendly, with care and education of the highest standard. With a setting that provides educare for children aged 3 months-5yrs, it is important to understand that we view all age groups as a stepping-stone towards preparing them for their future.
Have achieved 'Quality Counts' award with NDNA.(now known as PACEY). Provide the 3yr old grant. Take children that aren't toilet trained.
Who do we support
For children who live in Flintshire and the surrounding areas. Students with children who are attending Coleg Cambria are eligible to apply for funding to help with their childcare fees. We have a special needs coordinator that keeps up-to-date with special needs matters. We would undertake specific training if child with special needs was to join the nursery.

We are available: All year round. We are closed for one week at Christmas and all Bank holidays.
