National Deaf Children's Society - Family support services
What we do
The National Deaf Children’s Society (NDCS) is the leading charity dedicated to creating a world without barriers for deaf children and young people. We represent all deaf children and young people and their families, regardless of their level of deafness or communication approach.
We provide direct support to deaf children and young people, through a range of projects and events that are focused on developing their interpersonal skills and enhancing their confidence and self-esteem.
We offer parents information and support on all aspects of childhood deafness. This includes free membership to NDCS, helpline support, a wide range of events and projects and one-to-one advice from a family officer.
