What we do
We are a husband-and-wife team offering a warm, family-orientated, home-from-home childminding service in Aberystwyth. Registered with CIW, we provide high-quality care for children aged 0–12 in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment. Our setting focuses on play-based learning, outdoor exploration, and child-led activities. Daily routines include crafts, stories, baking, music, and local outings to parks and community spaces. We also offer flexible wraparound care including holidays, weekends, and school pickups, depending on availability. As parents ourselves, we understand the needs of young children and value strong partnerships with families. We tailor our care to each child’s interests and development, using regular observations and planning. We have completed all mandatory training and are committed to ongoing professional development. Our approach follows the Welsh Foundation Phase, ALN Code, and a rights-based ethos where every child is supported as a unique individual.

We are open on weekdays from 7:30 am to 8:00 pm and can arrange weekend care if needed, depending on availability. We also offer care on bank holidays when required, again subject to availability. Wraparound care, including breakfast and after-school clubs, is available to support families during term time. We aim to be flexible and will communicate any planned closures or changes in advance.
