What we do
My name is Amanda Rees. I’m a fully registered childminder working in Cwmavon and the surrounding areas of Port Talbot. I’m NNEB & CACHE Level 3 trained, CIW registered and a fully qualified carer. I am also ELKLAN trained and passed my course summer 2016, and qualified in level 3 of playwork.
I have been working in the childcare field since 1986. I am DRB checked , & registered with CIW and a member of PACEY
I regularly take the children on walks along the seaside and trips to local parks, playgrounds and museum visits. We also visit the library regularly for songs and rhymes sessions and story sessions on holidays. I offer a wide range of play at my home which caters for all ages and we also cover a wide range of celebrations at my home where we do lots of arts and crafts and discoveries. In my recent inspection I was awarded 4 excellent gradings in the 4 levels of standards of framework.
