What we do
Cylchoedd Meithrin provide Welsh- Medium childcare for children usually aged 2 years to school age. Cylchoedd Meithrin offer a range of childcare services from full day care, sessional care (for 2 - 4 hour sessions a day) or wraparound care with the local school.
All the childcare in a Cylch Meithrin is through the medium of Welsh and children absorb the language naturally. Most parents who send their child to Cylch Meithrin don’t speak Welsh themselves and they can take advantage of learning Welsh with their children if they so choose.
Who do we support
Pre-school children from 2 -4 yrs old. Registered to provide full day care.
We are an approved setting to provide 10 hours of Funded Early Education sessions from January to July for children in the term after their 3rd birthday.
Our Meithrin Mwy offers childcare that wraps around the School Nursery class until the end of day.
A Breakfast Club and After School Club is also available for preschool children from the age of 2yrs.
Experience/Training/Qualifications: All staff achieving Childcare in Education: 3 staff at level 5, 1 at level 6, 5 at level 3, and 2 are working towards level 2.

Sessions run from Breakfast Club 8.05-9am, Meithrin (Playgroup) 9.00-11.30 daily. The early education runs 9.00-11.30 Mon-Thurs. Meithrin Mwy (Playgroup Plus) 11.30-3pm. After School Club 3.00-5.10pm daily.
