What we do
We know how important it is for you to feel that you have chosen the best education for your child, so you can rest assured that your child will receive the best care and education in our nursery. Welsh is the language of the nursery but we welcome all children in the area no matter what language is spoken at home.
The aim of our group is to promote the education and development of children from two years old to school age. Children have the opportunity to socialize and learn through play led by our professional, friendly and enthusiastic staff.

We are registered with CIW (Care Inspectorate Wales), Estyn (Education and Training Inspectorate for Wales), and Mudiad Meithrin (Welsh Medium Playgroup).
We are based in Talgarreg Memorial Hall (SA44 4XB) and are open Mon, Wed, Thur, Fri 8:00am – 3.00pm.
Who do we support
Cylch Meithrin Talgarreg provide a safe environment for up to a maximum of 16 children aged between 2 years and 4 years (when they start school).

We provide all-day care (08:00-15:00) for 2-4 year olds. As a part of this provision, we provide both Education and Care Meithrin sessions in the morning, which are 09:00-11:30 on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. The Meithrin sessions are funded for Foundation Phase Nursery places (three to four year old education).

Lunch Club: 6.00
Meithrin (education) sessions are free for 3-4 year olds (from the term after they turn 3). 3-4 year old with working parents can receive up to 30 hours of free childcare from the Welsh Governments' scheme.
