STEPS Course for Dads and Significant Others - Family support services

What we do

The 10 - week course will support Dads and Significant Others to:
- Feel more confident
- Feel assertive and in control of your personal and family life
- Recognise and overcome personal barriers
- Understand how the mind works, and why we think in certain ways
- Set goals for your future

The course will begin Monday 10 February 2025

Who do we support

Fathers and Significant Other's who have a 0 - 4 year old living in the Flying Start areas.

Is there a charge to use this service?

No

Can anyone use this service?

No formal referral required, but father's do need to reside in the Flying Start area

Language: English medium setting with some bilingual elements

  • Can provide specialist support for families of children with disabilities / additional needs No Please contact to discuss your child(s) needs further.
  • Relevant staff have a valid current DBS? No

Every Monday 4.30pm - 6.30pm at the Flying Start Family Centre (Gladstone Road, Barry)
