Supportline - Family support services
What we do
SupportLine offers confidential emotional support to children, young adults and adults by telephone, email and post. We work with callers to develop healthy, positive coping strategies, an inner feeling of strength and increased self esteem to encourage healing, recovery and moving forward with life. We also keep details of counsellors, agencies and support groups throughout the UK.
The Helpline is primarily a preventative service and aims to support people before they reach the point of crisis. It is particularly aimed at those who are socially isolated, vulnerable, at risk groups and victims of any form of abuse.
Who do we support
Any individual - Supportline is primarily for those who are vulnerable, at risk, isolated and victims of any form of abuse. Much of SupportLine's work involves supporting adult survivors of childhood sexual, emotional and physical abuse.
