WISP Dance Club - Children and young people's activities

What we do

WISP Dance Club is run by Artistic Director Cher Mather and Choreographer Uma O’Neill. Cher began WISP in 1994 to create the first out-of-school dance and performance group for young people with special educational needs or learning disabilities in the North Wales area. WISP has gone from strength to strength, creating dance performances across a variety of themes and performed in a number of local and professional settings.

The group now has members from five counties who meet each work to enjoy dance and movement activities and have fun. Dancing together helps us to increase our self-esteem, confidence, coordination, wellbeing and contributes to as healthy lifestyle.

Have fun, learn dance, get fit, stay happy, make friends with our inclusive dance activities.
