What we do

Ladybirds is a small, rural independent setting dedicated to providing a fun, play-based, and high-quality learning experience for children aged 2-4. Our qualified staff hold Level 3-5 Childcare and Education qualifications, along with First Aid, Safeguarding, and Food Hygiene certifications, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Conveniently located on the grounds of Llanvihangel Crucorney Primary, our indoor space is welcoming and our refurbished outdoor area is large with soft fall surfacing. We continually update our resources, with a focus on incorporating sustainable, natural materials that spark children’s imagination. We foster curiosity and exploration by following the children’s interests, integrating the New Welsh Curriculum and Froebelian principles to track and support their development. Additionally, we offer opportunities for children to experience dance and music, inviting skilled professionals to engage with them.
