What we do

Ladybirds is a small rural independent setting providing a fun, play based, high quality learning experience for children age 2-4. Our staff hold level 3-5 Childcare and Education qualifications as well as first aid, safeguarding and food hygiene certificates. We are located in the grounds of Llanvihangel Crucorney Primary School. Our indoor space is light, warm and welcoming, we continuously change, update and renew our resources moving towards more sustainable, natural materials which inspire children’s imagination and creativity. We encourage curiosity and exploration by following the children’s interests, using the Welsh Foundation Phase Framework to monitor and progress the children’s development. We create opportunities for children to experience dance and music by inviting professionals to work with the children.
