What we do

The purpose of Family Link is to provide a child or young person with opportunities to make new friends and enjoy different experiences whilst giving parents a welcome break. Short break families are recruited, stringently checked, assessed and trained by the Project and then approved as carers by the Local Authority. Link families provide short, flexible periods of care in their own homes.

A referral is required to access the service - referral is required via Social Services Child Care Disability Team, Civic Centre, Neath.
