Music Lab - Children and young people's activities

What we do

Music Lab is an opportunity for people aged 14 – 18 yrs to explore the possibilities of music technology as a means of creating, recording and editing music.

Music Lab will be led by tutor Will Frampton, together with a selection of guest professional musicians. Participants will create soundscapes together with the musicians, using traditional musical instruments as well other sound sources, such as found sound and voice, to create experimental music and sound art. Apps, synthesisers, loops and other elements of sound recording and editing will also be used and participants are also welcome to bring their own instruments.
There will be no barriers to what you can create!
