What we do

Conwy Youth Council is open to all young people who live or attend school in Conwy aged between 12 -18 years of age. Being a member can have a positive impact on the lives of young people by:

• Providing them with an opportunity to have a say on things that affect them
• Challenging the decision-making process around services that affect young people.
• Developing projects around issues that affect young people.
• Providing a greater understanding of the democratic system.
• Increasing young people’s knowledge and self-esteem

There are a number of representatives on the Youth Council from different secondary schools, colleges and the Youth Service.
