What we do

The Carmarthenshire Carers and Family Support Services provides one-to-one support, a telephone helpline and group support for carers of people with serious mental illness throughout Carmarthenshire.

Who do we support

We support anyone supporting someone with a mental health problem in Carmarthenshire. We have carers groups running in Carmarthen (monthly) and Llanelli (fortnightly) where people can meet other carers in a relaxed environment to socialise and have some respite from their day-to-day caring role.

No

Can anyone use this service?

Anyone aged 18 and over is eligible. Referrals can come from CMHT, GP’s, other Third sector organisations and self-referrals. If you would like to discuss the referral process with us or request more information then please get in contact using the phone or email address above.
