Deaf Education Through Listening And Talking (DELTA) - Family support services


What we do

Deaf Education Through Listening and Talking (DELTA) is a charity that supports families with deaf babies, children, young people and the practitioners in Health and Education that work with them.
We know that the vast majority of deaf children can learn to listen and talk, learning through the language of the home . We believe that all parents of deaf children should be given this option. The data base includes printable fact sheets and answers to many questions relating to deafness. An information pack is available in Welsh or English.

SERVICES PROVIDED INCLUDE -
• Online sessions
• On line CPD for professional and carers
• Will arrange information days upon demand
• Queries to website will aimed to be answered in 72hours and signposted for the correct support and advice

    • Mentors and experienced users of different hearing aid equipment
    including
    Cochlear implants
    Hearing aid users
    Experienced parents and adult hearing equiptment users, who are happy to mentor
