What we do

MAC is enrolling students (age 16-25) for the BTEC Level 3 course in Animation, for an immediate start. This exciting creative course will appeal to artists, content creators, game developers and those keen to pursue a career in marketing, tv, film or special effects. All training courses at MAC take place in a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere, where we focus on your strengths to help you grow your confidence. You will learn in a small group of 12-16 students. MAC courses are full time (3 days per week) so students can claim EMA or the Welsh Government Learning Grant. No previous experience is required and there are no formal entry requirements.
MAC especially welcomes applications from students who have been unable to access similar opportunities elsewhere, are at risk of social exclusion, and are not in education, training or employment.

The BTEC Level 3 Extended National Diploma in Animation & Creative Media provides a comprehensive understanding of the principles and techniques of animation. This practical course teaches the necessary skills to create engaging and high-quality animated content.
Students learn about various animation styles, software tools, character design, storytelling, and production processes. Through practical projects and industry-relevant assignments, students develop a strong portfolio showcasing their animation expertise.
