Flintshire Empowering Parents Empowering Communities - Family support services

What we do

Would you like to find out more about how to support your child? The Being a Parent (BAP) groups are free to join and are run virtually via zoom and also face to face. Our groups are unique to others as they are run by local parents. They are run over 8 weeks (term time only) for 2 hours per week. Some of the topics covered are Being a Parent, Play, Feelings, Understanding Children's Behaviour and Valuing my Child. We also have a Baby & Us group that is run for 8 weeks (term time only) for 2 hours per week. some of the topics covered are Your Baby's Personality, Managing Stress, Taking care of Ourselves, and Feelings. The groups are an opportunity to meet other parents going through similar experiences and share ideas around practical support for the day to day challenges of being a parent.
