Michael Climer Legacy Fund - Family support services

What we do

MCLF makes weekly food available in our community for people that find managing their weekly budget is difficult. We supply fresh, chilled and ambient food at no charge and are also willing to offer contact details for other agencies if requested to do so when additional help is needed, for example debt management, housing issues and mental health concerns. We also run a food co-op from our church hall once a week where tins, packets and fresh food is available for those needing help with their budget. In addition a free tea and coffee area provides a safe place for social chat and resources advice and information. From time to time free haircuts are available from visiting professional hairdressers. We can also loan books and DVDs for families and for children.
