What we do

Safe, emergency accommodation mainly for women, and their children, needing a safe home away from domestic abuse (temporarily). Mix of 24 hour staffed, and non 24 hour staffed refuges. Providing a range of support for women and children to enable them to remain safe from Domestic Abuse. If you are male and experiencing domestic abuse, we have some refuge spaces that might be suitable, please get in touch.

Who do we support

Mainly women (age 16+), and their children, who need somewhere to live, where they can be safe from Domestic Abuse.
We have some refuge spaces which can be suitable for men (age 16+), and their children, who need somewhere to live, where they can be safe from Domestic Abuse.

Is there a charge to use this service?

Yes - Refuges provide accommodation and support. There is a rent and service charge for the accommodation. This can usually be paid by Housing Benefit. We will provide support with accessing benefits and budgeting. If Benefits are not sorted out, there may be a debt for the individual.
