This provider is registered for 40 places and is staffed for 40 places.

What we do

Playgroup, sometimes known as Preschool is childcare where children usually aged 2 years to school age are cared for, rather than care being provided for babies or toddlers.

Typically, playgroups operate from community centres, school sites or church buildings during school term-time only, however, some do operate all year round. Opening times can vary from short daily sessions of 2-4 hours or halfdays to all day*. Many offer a wraparound session (where they can drop off or collect your child from school) for children who are part-time in a local primary school.

When playgroups open all day, they do not usually offer the full range of services like a day nursery does, nor do they cater for the same age range. For example, they don’t provide childcare for babies from birth onwards or provide 3 meals a day.

Who do we support

All children aged 2 to 4 years are welcome.

All staff are suitably qualified or working towards Childcare, Learning and Development, are DBS checked and attend all mandatory training in First Aid, Safeguarding and Food Hygiene.

Fees are reviewed each September.

Funded Early Education session runs 9am-11.00 Spring and Summer terms. Flying Start sessions run 12.30pm-3pm daily. Alternatively at these session times, children can attend the childcare for part of the day or all of our opening hours between 9.00 am - 3pm.

£10.00 per Session - Morning (9am-11am)
£11.00 per Session - Afternoon (12.30pm - 3pm)
£28.00 per Session - All day (9am - 3pm)
£19.00 per Session - FS/EE all day
£13.50 per Session - Wraparound (11.30am-3pm)

Children to bring a packed lunch but snacks are provided in the costs.
