The Childcare Offer in the Vale of Glamorgan - Family support services

What we do

The Childcare Offer for Wales is available in the Vale of Glamorgan. Funding starts the term after your child’s 3rd birthday and is made up of 12.5 hours per week of nursery education (in a school nursery*) and 17.5 hours per week in a registered childcare setting during term time.

*Also available at St Donat’s Nursery School and Swallow Playgroup. Contact the settings directly to apply.

During the school holidays, you receive 30 hours of childcare funding for 9 holiday weeks in a total year.

You can tell us that your child might have additional needs on your Childcare Offer application.
