What we do
Hopscotch Nursery childcare provision is set within the grounds of Gilwern Primary school, which enables us to have great transition links with the school. We have a large secure outdoor area that the children can access all year round, within which the children can play and learn through physical activity, such as woodwork, messy play in our mud kitchen, gardening and planting and a variety of activities supporting the curriculum. We are part of the Healthy Pre schools scheme, and the RHS gardening school awards. We also have experience in working with children with ALN.
Staff Qualifications: level 5 x 4 staff members, level 4 x 1staff member, level 3x2 staff members, all staff hold up to date DBS checks, safeguarding training, food hygiene, first aid and are prevent trained.
Security Features: Door lockable from inside - doorbell for visitors. Password system for collection of children
