What we do

I provide care in my home for children aged 2 to 12 years of age.
I have been a qualified nursery nurse for 16 years. I have worked in private nurseries and the last 12 years I have worked in a school as a teaching assistant working from nursery to year 6.
For parents that may be working and need help with childcare. I am registered to look after 6 children but have spaces for 3. I offer a range of daily activities, to regular visits to local parks, playgroups and use the local library weekly.
I am able to accept children part of the childcare offer as well as those who claim tax free childcare.
I am also able to provide care for children during half terms and school inset days.

Who do we support

For parents/ carers who may need help with child care whether it’s all day, half day or wrap around for children of Darran Park Primary School.

We are available: all year round. I do shut for a couple of holidays a year but will provide this information when children start within my care.

We can provide wrap around care.

  Our costs

  • £9.00 per Session - Wrap around this price includes the before and after school pick ups. Spaces currently available.
  • £50.00 per Day - This includes breakfast, snacks, lunch and a light tea.
  • £30.00 per Half day - Half days are either 7:30-12:30 or 12:30-17:30. Mornings will include breakfast, snack and lunch.

We have the following additional costs :

  • £0.00 - If we are attending a playgroup I may ask for the fee for this.

  About our service

The language spoken in our setting is English medium setting with some bilingual elements.

Provider has access to support and advice for Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
I can look into this if requested. I have had training though with regards to supporting those with ADHD and Autism.
Provider has a working knowledge of the ALN Act and Person Centred Planning approaches
Staff have accessed relevant ALN/disability training in the last 2 years?
But would happy to look into further training.

  • Wrap arounds are seperate 7:30 till school drop off £9, After school 15:00-17:00 is £12/ £15 -17:30
