Merthyr Tydfil Youth Service - Southern Cluster Treharris Boys and Girls Club - Children and young people's activities


What we do

Treharris Boys and Girls Club operates a 4 session per week universal open access social programme for Young People and additional sessions for accreditation and sports and physical activity.

The setting is an open awards centre for the Duke of Edinburgh's Award and also delivers accreditedlife skills courses, artistic and performing arts projects, substance misuse (in partnership with Drug Aid), Sport and Physical Activities including the opportunity to complete a Community Sports Leader Award. The Centre is developing a Youth Forum which also links to the Borough-wide Youth Forum.

Who do we support

Young people of Merthyr Tydfil aged 11 - 25 years with an emphasis on Young People at key transition points in their lives.
